I love to doodle... and draw and  paint .. then put the bright color.  This is  done on paper...
Would love to see my painting on canvas... then make it as a bag. Lovely. another dream to achieve ;).

Fabric wallet

I know I've posted several fabric wallet... but can't help not to post more on this fabric wallet...
Pretty and functional... that's what I like.

Handmade batik bag

Proudly showing to you all that  this is the first pretty stuff I made for 2015. Batik bag.
It sure gives me a challenge to sew the inner bag. But... yeay... I made it.

Actually I'm not really a pink person.... but this bag is sweet I guess.
and I put on the yoyo and pink button to make it sweeter.

I like it... What do you think ?

Tintin Tote bag...

I love Tintin and snowy... and all the character in the book.
and have Tintin Tote bag was never come into my mind back then... but now I got one.. and make it myself... WOW.
So proud of myself ( LOL ). Adding Zipper to this bag is a great achievement for me. Let's just see the photos... :)

My heart was beating faster on this last stitch... The bag is almost done... a labor of love.

Hori button tote bag

Sewalong is really fun.... I participate sewing the Tote Bag with a sewing group on FB.  Looking at what fabric they're using to create this Tote Bag is really a feast for my eyes... and I just can say that they are creative.... Using different kind of fabrics.. is an eye opener for me...

So.. I made this tote bag... following the direction of one member that lead us...

I start it with black cotton drill fabrics and Red bali batiks...

That is the bag... Wooo hooo... Love it.

As usual, after making one project... there is a desire to make more...

Fabric wallet

I have lots of fabrics.... and need to make something.... so I can buy more fabrics... ha ha....

Wallet and pouches are  now my cup of tea...
once I cut the fabrics... then it's an easy ride to sew them...

Love to show them off to my friends... and love more when they buy it.

Handmade Christmas ornaments

My friend asked me to make 10 Christmas gift for the guess that are attended School Christmas' Celebrations.
Then.. I made this...
Hope they like it... and hang it on their Christmas tree... ;)

Bali adventure

This year...I had a chance to visit Bali again.... oooowh I'm so excited because Bali is my favorite place to visit. They called Bali with a Paradise island... and I couldn't agree more.

Bali is the famous island for tourist around the world. It located in the middle part of Indonesia.
Lots of things to see and experience.... 

This is how my eyes see a bit of this island... the culture... the art...  Oooh they are so beautiful to my eyes.

This is a small offerings of flowers and " dupa " they put them on the street.. 

  

And this is a handpainted boxes... consist of a colorful little dots... create a beautiful pattern... 

Wooden art...  and frangipani flower hair clip.

A typical Balinese house has a stone carved fence.. . Simply Gorgeous. 

Very detailed work on carved stone...  Beautifully made !










And this is a wooden doll ( this is a typical javanese puppet /doll ) I found them greeting me on a restaurant. They are holding a menu they offered.

Awesome antique tiles on a restaurant...
I don't think we produce this kind of tiles anymore... they must be saved from an old house....
I love it...
Make a great pattern for Quilt right.. ?  a ha... an inspiration !

Crocheted Christmas Ornaments

Christmas is coming.... !
Usually I made handmade Christmas Ornaments every year...  It is nice to see all those handmade ornaments that I made all these years.... It warm my heart... really.

This year.. nothing fancy... just a crocheted Christmas Ornaments... I never done this before... and I love it..

What do you think ?

I need to do at least 10 of them.... well.. the more the merrier right ?

I will just create the pattern as I crochet... :)

Frame bag

Nowadays there are lots of workshop was held at big cities in Indonesia and the enthusiasm from ladies who likes to sew are incredible. They are willing to register months before... and come early on the workshop day...  From sewing bags, Quilts, dolls...
it is like a new trends. Ooh well... needless to say.. I am part of them too... it is like a social gathering where we can meet friends who like to share the same passions. We are connected right away.

Last week I took this frame bag Workshop..

Practice makes perfect

I sharpened my sewing skill with practice.... Sewing Zipper sure is not an easy job to do for me.. Practice makes perfect...  that is true.. the more I sew the more I gained the skill. I need to be really patient to do this right... :)

Menjahit resleting di dompet akordion ini tidak mudah... banyak coba dan gagal dan dedelnya.... jadi harus banyak latihan...

kalau sudah bisa dan melihat hasilnya.... senang juga....

Bangga deh bisa menjahit dompet ini untuk ke dua dan ke tiga kalinya... mudah2an akan ada ke empat dan seterusnya....

Accordion Wallet

I felt so happy to be in a crowd of creative women who like to sew...
Never did I imagine that I can sew anything than just a straight stitch...
First... I make a Quilt..then dolls... then a children dress... then now bags and wallets ? WOW the sewing world really takes me to a journey where I can push my ability to increase my skill. :) And I am so happy... 
Not to mention I met more people who shared the same passion...
Thanks be to God... I felt like I'm living in a right world right now... ha ha...

Making this kind of wallet is not easy... need skill and patience...
whew... sewing those zipper is really something !
 
This is my first accordion wallet...

 Still need to make some adjustment... to make it neater...
 But as a master piece... I'm quite satisfied....

I'll practice some more...

This candy frame purse is really cute... The green beads color actually isn't really my color, but when I use Mary Engelbreit's fabric then I know this purse is attractive... :)

Frame coin purse

I always up to trying new things... the challenge makes me excited.  This is what I did lately..
making a frame coin purse. 
Bought the frame online and trying to figure out how they make a coin purse. Start with making my own pattern... well internet sure gives us what we need. LOL. I learn the tutorial how to make this purse... and with trial and error I make this...

I'm so confidence making the one with gusset which is more challenging than not using one.
Still... I need practice to make it neat.
but so proud that I finally can make it.

And the other one... I use different pattern shape which I draw myself... without gusset, but I did the machine quilting in the fabrics. Mary Engelbreit's fabric... my favorite...
Isn't it lovely ?

I still have 3 more frame... Yeay...
I'll  pick the right fabrics for them... and for now... I need to sip my afternoon coffee...:)

Selvages Quilt

I save those selvages fabrics for quite some times... so when they are adding up I thought it's about time to make something out of those selvages...

First I sew them row by row..
then use them like I want to.
This time I would like to make a wonky house Quilt.

I love house quilt... but wonky house quilt ? like them better for their quirky appearance.. it was really related to my brain which sometimes just can't go straight. LOL

I make one to see if it working nicely, and I kinda like the result..
first, this is intended for a mug rug... then the size is too big so I make a pillow instead.

I still have those selvages fabric... enough to make a baby Quilt size :) I'll do a baby quilt version for wall hanging Quilt I guess. Whaaa.... that would be nice... :)
